Yes. It’s about Mistress and slave, and the power dynamic between the one who wears the collar and the one who holds the leash. But it’s also about two people giving each other permission to be who they truly are. Our culture pushes us to wear masks and submerge our true selves out of fear. What joy and peace comes from the freedom to be vulnerable and genuine with another human being … and to be accepted and celebrated for being the person that we are.
